Bob, yeah it was a shitty piece but Deitch isn’t known to be one to pull shitty art from an exhibit. It’s probably more like the Wes Lang fiasco… http://nymag.com/news/intelligencer/37663/ Deitch was more than likely kowtowing to wealthy donors (it’d be nice if he’d show art the same reverence). Don’t hold your breath lazy, Kathy doesn’t even have a vested interest in this one.

i certainly wasn’t trying for tacky, i just wanted to genuinely know what kathy’s thoughts were. i myself just find the situation weird knowing deitch’s history and all. in the end i just think he didn’t want to offend his neighbors.
